The Card Concept- Elegant Fall- 100th Challenge!

It's time for another The Card Concept challenge! I created my card based on the inspiration photo below. For this special 100th challenge, each of us on the design team have invited a special guest to join us. Head on over to the main challenge blog to see who my guest is!

Isn't that a gorgeous inspiration photo? I'm dreaming about gold-dipping my pumpkins now!

I gave my Clean and Layered card the same gold-dipped treatment. After die cutting a piece of pink cardstock with a stitched rectangle, I swiped Versamark ink on the top and bottom of it and sprinkled on embossing powder and heat set it. The top is a gold sparkle powder while the bottom is more of a matte gold. The sentiment (my favourite font ever designed by my friend Kimberly Crawford!) was die cut from gold paper and foam, adhered together and popped up on the pink piece. I added a little strip of cardstock with the rest of the sentiment stamped on it. A few sequins finish it off. The entire pink panel was adhered using foam tape to a white A2 card base.

Head on over to The Card Concept blog to see how the rest of the team was inspired and what styles they used on their cards. Don't forget to check out the guest designers for our special 100th challenge! Play along with us using any of the styles we highlight...I can't wait to see what you come up with!
