Papertrey Ink 11th anniversary- Floral Challenge

Happy Monday everyone! The snow and freezing rain have stopped and the sun is shining. Love it! All this sunshine makes me think of springtime and happy flowers. The Papertrey Ink Floral challenge is right up my alley for today.

I started with a card base using the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die, cut from Stamper's Select white cardstock. Using my MISTI I stamped the corner piece from Mini Blooms repeatedly, colouring each flower with my Zig watercolour markers first. After they were all stamped, I lightly went over each one with a small wet paint brush to give it a watercolour look. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with silver embossing powder. The swirl below it was stamped in a bright purple ink and some silver thread was tied around the one edge of the card. A few iridescent sequins finish it off.

Thanks for stopping in today. I hope your Monday is full of sunshine and flowers!
