Year In Review 2017

As I have done in previous years, today I am showing you some of my favourite cards from 2017! Although I didn't post as many cards this year, I still made lots and had fun doing it. I love this hobby and this industry, and all the friends I've made through it. I hope you enjoy some of these cards as much as I did!

In no particular order, here are 12 of my favourites from this past year using products from various companies that I love:

(using Concord & 9th and an acrylic paint pouring technique)

(using Right At Home)

Thank you ALL for stopping in today and checking out my favourites. Are any of these YOUR favourites of mine? If not, what did you like? Thanks for sticking with me through 2017!

Inspired by All the Little Things #76

Welcome to another week of fabulous inspiration from the Inspired by All the Little Things team!

Isn't that festive? Looks like the aftermath of a super fun party at my house! The dramatic black backdrop with touches of silver and gold, glitter/sparkle, and pale pink all caught my eye.

My card today could definitely be for a birthday, or another milestone celebration of some sort. What about to give the host or hostess at your New Year's Eve party? Add a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider as a gift... and perfect!

To create my card today, I die cut circles from vellum and pale pink cardstock and adhered them right to the card base. I added some die cut stars cut from gold glitter paper. I flicked on some white shimmer watercolor paint here and there. The 'Cheers' from My Favorite Things was die cut and stacked four times for dimension. That tiny sentiment strip is from Simple Sentiments by CZ Designs at Simon Says Stamp

Inspired by All the Little Things #75

Welcome to another week of fabulous inspiration from the Inspired by All the Little Things team!

What an icy and yet cozy inspiration photo! I love the soft colours and the winter feel in general. You can almost feel the chill in the air looking at those skates! I used pastels and a giant snowflake (rather than the star in the photo) for my card today.

This card was simple to put together. Colourful strips of cardstock in pastel shades as well as some glitter and mirrored silver paper were adhered diagonally across the card front. The snowflake (retired My Favorite Things) and 'merry' were die cut and the little 'Christmas' was stamped and trimmed. Easy peasy and fun to try in other combinations too!
