I decided to create a four tag combo set for my little ones, my nephew, and Santa of course! I personalized each tag with their name and the ODDity that closely resembled them...for Santa of course, he was spot on! :) Each tag uses the same papers, embellishments and the only difference is in the image and colouring...I just changed up each paper combination to keep it unique! The first tag on the left is for my nephew Ben and uses Prezzie Tobie, followed by Santa's tag.
Then we have another Pressie Tobie for my son Jake, and Big Pressie Tia for my daughter Robin. I just loved colouring up all these cuties and can't WAIT to use them on some of their presents come Christmas time!

Cheery Santa

Isn't this guy the cutest Santa you've ever seen? Pretty cheery looking if you ask me! I LOVE Echo Park papers because of how bright, bold and colourful they always are...my fave combinations when crafting. When it all comes together in one nice collection it makes it easier to piece everything together! FYI- I used the alphabet stickers for the 'ho, ho, ho." :)

Peace on Earth

Tomorrow is one of the last sales of the season my mom and I are selling our cards at. We have done four so far and had lots of fun! I can't believe I made over 300 Christmas cards!!! Maybe that's why I ordered photo cards online this year instead of making more for myself to send out...haha. :) I was determined to use up LAST YEAR'S papers before I cracked into this seasons, so this card shows the last of my Eskimo Kisses paper from Basic Grey. I love Dawn McVey's use of doilies on many of her creations, so I grabbed some at good ol' Walmart the other day from the Martha Stewart section and used them on my card.

Pressie Tobie and SOG events!

I created this card a week or so ago for the Some Odd Girl November digi day over on the SNR site. Have you participated in one of Some Odd Girl's digi days yet?? My challenge for this card was to make something MASCULINE. Well, Tobie IS a boy, and I tried to stay with brown and kraft colours. The lack of 'bling' or pretty ribbon { :( } makes it a little more gender appropriate as well. BTW- Tobie kinda looks like my little sweetie Jake! :)

a CARS birthday!

What little boy doesn't love Lightening McQueen? My son loved his card that I made him for his 4th birthday, so I decided to do a similar one for my nephew's 2nd birthday. He has his room decorated with all CARS themed 'stuff' so this will fit perfectly in there! I paired the cute EK Success image with Wander papers by Basic Grey. I heat embossed the sentiment (Hero Arts), added some twine, ribbon and button and voila! Done!

Rustic Christmas wreath

This card is one of the many that I made for the SIX Christmas craft sales I am doing this season....2 down, 4 to go! I made about 20 of these (mass producing is waaayyyy easier than one at a time!) and they were very popular at the first 2 sales. I think this card has a very rustic, old-fashioned look to it. That berry wreath is just fabulous stamped in Scarlet Jewel...okay, how do I find that exact wreath for my front door?! :)

Cheery Christmas and Cute Kids!

What a bright and cheerful Christmas card! I love how the red just 'pops' right off the card! This card could be one layer if you omitted the button or substituted with a paper diecut button instead. The red Stickles really make it sparkle...how lovely! I'm liking Papertrey Ink's Framed set more and more as I use it...I can really see the possibilities there.

Christmas Wishes

Well wasn't this an easy and quick card to throw together?! :) I have been budget-conscious this holiday season and am busy using up every last scrap of my Christmas paper and supplies leftover from last year. No need to buy new stuff until the old stuff is all gone...sad, but necessary since the ol' bank account will be needed for the kiddos Christmas presents instead of MY supplies. :) At least I'm told that's the right thing to do...*sigh* Have a great day everyone- it's chilly here; I had to pull out the kids winter coats today. :(

Little baby, big love

Ohhh my. This is the 4th time I've attempted to post this card and my busy life keeps getting in the way! :) I'm keeping it short and sweet this time around...I created this sweet card for my cousin and her husband who recently had a baby girl. On a second look I decided it was a little toooo pink and girly for my 'tomboy' cousin and will have to make something different, but this one can go in the SELL pile. I paired a Hero Arts sentiment with a Prima pearl flourish and flower, and CUTE paper from Making Memories- the Pitter Patter collection! Thanks for looking!

All Booked Up for Christmas!

This was one sample of the ohhhhh 500 Christmas cards I've made (so far) for 4 craft shows I'm in this holiday season. :) To say I'm sick of making Christmas cards is an understatement...!!! BUT they are all so jolly and cute how you can not love them!?

This one uses a Mat Stack die and coordinating stamp for the focal piece, with a Christmas image and sentiment in the openings. Papertrey Ink has so many sets that are perfect for mixing and matching so I KNEW it wouldn't be hard to go through my stash and find something that would fit in that cute frame! 'Tis the Season

I just love one layer, clean and simple cards. Perfect for mass-producing and quick to put together. This is going to be my Christmas card this year that I send out to my family and friends. Since it is mostly just stamping I can do a bunch at a time and not get sick of it! :) Papertrey Ink was my go-to company for stamps and cardstock, but I also added some red Stickles to the 'ornaments' at the last minute because it needed an extra burst of bright colour- and that did the trick!! A sweet, simple sympathy card. Thank goodness not for anyone in particular, but it never hurts to have one just in case. I like to make my sympathy cards 'pretty' and feminine- not sure why but that is how they usually turn out.

I have 2 craft sales this weekend and in past years I've found that people always buy lots of sympathy, thinking of you and get well cards so that is what I've been working these past few days...depressing!!! Haha...I REALLY need to get to doing some birthday and Christmas cards- WAY more cheerful!

Stash Challenge #9- Backgrounds!

Another challenge day over at Some Odd Girl! Run on over to the challenge blog and see what the design team has created for you this time around... I really had to think hard about this one- using images from the store to create a BACKGROUND! Hmmmm...could it be done? :) I think so!

I opened Fluffy Love in my photo editing program (Microsoft Digital Image Suite) and made sure the image was small enough that it would look 'right' when repeated over and over on a 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. Then I copied and pasted it to fill an entire sheet, printed it off, and coloured it in to match with my other designer papers.

Voila! My own fancy background. I also added some daubs of Stickles here and there for sparkle and shine. Poor Sunny Rays nice smile was covered up for this card...darn. I had enough pretty paper left over I used it up for a tag! What a nice combo!

Signature Christmas

I love a colourful Christmas card! Really, the brighter and cheerier it is, the better. Nothing against traditional, old-fashioned looking cards, I just LOVE the bold ones! :) Crate Paper's Snow Day line is perfect for that kind of card. I used a sketch/idea from Michelle Wooderson (that lady KNOWS how to put a card together!!) and my big snowflake punch to pull this card together.

Christmas Wishes

Oh yes...a Christmas card! Halloween is over folks so on to the next big event (us Canadian already celebrated our Thanksgiving a few weeks ago). I have 4 craft sales this season that I'll be selling my creations at, so I've been super busy making Christmas cards left and right...oh, about 500 of them! :) I mixed up some Papertrey Ink goodness with the gorgeous Crate Paper Snow Day line...love it!
