March Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!!

Yes, yes, yes it's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop time...yippeeeee!! :) Here's the inspiring theme this month: BUTTONS!
How fun! My first thought was "OH GOOD- I only have about a million of them, I can finally use some up." My second thought was, "uh oh...HOW do I use them creatively?" Well, here's my card and you can decide if it's creative or not, but just the same I like it! I suppose this one WILL be a hand delivered one though...it's pretty darn heavy! :)
I secured all those fab buttons with Scor Tape. I did not run the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug folder using a machine, instead I used my rolling pin and gently rolled back and forth, because I wanted the impression to be more subtle than had I used my Big Shot.

Supplies: (all Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted)
Stamps: Tags for Spring
Ink: Sweet Blush, True Black, Chamomile
Paper: Stamper's Select White, Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist, Sweet Blush
Other: Buttons; scalloped border punch (SU!); Scalloped circle punch (EK Success); Cuttlebug embossing folder (Provo Craft); foam dimensionals

You are a brave woman, using all those buttons, I think you win for most used on one project, but it does look fabulous! Makes a very sweet card.

So cute. I know what you mean about heavy cards. Mine were so front heavy that I had to work to get them to stamp up and be photographed! :) Love the buttoned scallops and your color choices.

Beautiful Easter Card. Those buttons are heavy aren't they. I try to keep them for non-mailing cards.
